“Color is the primary way I express emotion and create mood in a painting. I am continually intrigued by how one color looks and feels when it is next to another, and this opens up endless explorations for my art.”Terri Dilling is an abstract artist who makes reference to the landscape around her, and also an emotional landscape within. She received a BA from Indiana University and a BFA from Georgia State University. As the child of a German mother and an American father, she grew up loving culture and travel, leading her to attend art programs in England, South Africa, Spain and Italy. She was alsoawarded creative project grants from NASA and the National Science Foundation to work with scientists from the Center for Chemical Evolution. She has received other grants and awards, and her art is in collections around the world. Terri lives and works in Atlanta.
