About the Artist- David Nichols A professional artist for many years, David continues to find ways to express his visions on canvas. His current work is primarily contemporary landscapes and some abstracted images. His paintings are produced with interpretive passages that are at once both familiar and thought provoking. “Painting is an intuitive process for me, applying layers of paint to express my thoughts, until the work “feels” right. My vision for the work is more about how shapes and colors work together to create an image, whether it be representational or abstract.” David has an Industrial Engineering degree from Auburn University as well as an MBA from Samford University. He had his own art publishing firm for 17 years where he represented over 150 artists, selling their work to the trade worldwide. He is represented in several galleries in the southeast.
