"Exploring Digital Collage: A Symphony of Control and Chaos" At the core of my process is the use of digital photos captured through my camera lens. These images serve as raw material, capturing fragments of reality that by directing a blending process, using AI algorithms, are comingled. I then select elements of these amalgamated images to incorporate into my abstract collages. I manipulate those chosen fragments, layering them and using various filters in Photoshop to create a complex tapestry wherein each fragment contributes its own story within the larger narrative. As I work, I am constantly exploring the tension between control and chaos. Central to my compositions is the balance between richly intricate, visually busy areas and tranquil, visually restful ones. While I exercise meticulous attention to the placement of each element, many hours are spent using a drawing tablet to sketch, manipulate and shape the final results. Each line and shape is drawn with intentionality -- contrasting and harmonizing these elements to evoke a range of emotions and associations that contribute to the overall narrative and mood of the piece. I strive to create dynamic rhythms and a flow that pulls the viewer's eye across the canvas and invites an exploration of each individual element. Ultimately, my work invites viewers to contemplate the deeper mysteries of the human experience.
