“Originally from the UK, I have lived in New England for over 20 years. After arriving in the USA I decided to learn to paint in oils and around 12 years ago I took a class at LexArt. A few years and a few classes later I became the Chair of the painters guild at LexArt (2019-2022). I paint mainly local landscapes and seascapes in a realistic, impressionistic, style. In my work I try my best to capture, in oils, a feeling and put it on the canvas or board so that it is not purely representational.I have exhibited at local libraries, most recently Concord MA, Gallery Twist and the Molly Nye Gallery at LexArt.”
