Charlotte Seifert Charlotte Seifert is a Houston-based contemporary artist working in painting and monotype printmaking. Her work explores themes of memory, transformation, and inner experience through a blend of abstraction and figuration. Drawing inspiration from literature, theology, and personal history, she uses the natural world as a metaphor for emotional and spiritual reflection. Charlotte holds a BFA and MFA in Painting from Southern Methodist University, where she received a merit scholarship. She has been awarded a fellowship from the Vermont Studio Center, and her work has been exhibited in juried, solo, and group shows across the U.S. She is represented by Foltz Fine Art (Houston), Blue Print Gallery (Dallas), View Gallery (Jackson), and Design Supply (Birmingham), and is a member of PrintMatters Houston and Burning Bones Press. Artist StatementPainting is a way of remembering. My work reflects the inner and outer landscapes I inhabit, using nature as metaphor to express personal and spiritual ideas through both abstraction and figuration.
