Bill Inverso is a sculptor working in wood. He creates unique art pieces and custom furniture. The artist says he is attracted to movement in many different mediums, such as ballet, a falling leaf, the ebb and flow of music, the way trees move when the wind blows, movement in rock formations and the clouds. He likes to take wood and shift it in different directions, creating geometric patterns and movement in his sculptures. Working closely with the grain form and textures, Bill Inverso tries to bring out the natural beauty of wood by allowing it to move in unique ways and creating something that wasn't there before. Being a high-end furniture maker in Roaring Fork Valley, Colorado, for many years, Inverso now brings his creative whims to life. He is intertwined with his work and in a place of total peace while he creates.
