Claudia Burgi (b. 1995, Naples, Italy) received her B.F.A from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2018 and lives and works in Jacksonville, FL. Upon graduation she moved to New York City to pursue a career in film, with a focus in cinematography. Two years later she moved back to her hometown of Jacksonville, FL and began painting large expressive abstracts. Elements of design like composition, color, and light have played a role in all of her professional experiences. Her vibrant and expressive work speaks to a range of influences from Ian Rayer-Smith to Daisy Parris.
