Ted Chapin received his BA at Yale College and his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Fine Arts. He practiced architecture full time for 28 years at a number of firms including the Philadelphia office of Mitchell/Giurgola Architects, the San Francisco office of Skidmore Ownings and Merrill and the Boston firm Elkus/Manfredi Architects. Since his retirement from the profession of architect in 2003 Ted has been a full-time artist. Ted divides his time between his homes in Palm Springs and Provincetown. Ted has shown his artwork in various venues in San Francisco, Boston, Palm Desert, Santa Monica, New York and Provincetown. His current art studio is in Palm Springs.
