Ken Newton, a native of Buffalo, NY, is an accomplished artist recognized for his association as the team artist for the Buffalo Bills NFL football team. In 2020, Ken's talent shone as he painted custom cleats for numerous Bills players and sneakers for coaches participating in the annual My Cause My Cleats NFL charitable fundraising game. These shoes were proudly worn during the game to support various charitable causes. Ken's artistic prowess extends beyond the football field. He was commissioned by a historic bar near the Bills' stadium to create a mural celebrating the team, a testament to his standing within his hometown. Throughout his career, Ken has been sought after to paint action portraits of several Bills players, including icons like Jim Kelly, Andre Reed, Fred Jackson, and ESPN personality Chris Berman. Ken's journey as an artist began in grade school, where he drew characters from cartoons, comics, and athletes. His passion for painting blossomed during high school but took a back seat during life's busier chapters of work and family. A transformative moment occurred during a family vacation to a Wyland sea life gallery, reigniting Ken's passion for painting. Since then, Ken has immersed himself in creating vibrant artworks, notably his collection of "Crazy Trees & Wild Flowers," characterized by dynamic colors, textures, patterns, and techniques. Ken resides in Buffalo with his wife Joyce, in her childhood home, along with their beloved dog Albert. Together, they share a goal of visiting every Major League Baseball park across the USA, cherishing family moments with their five grown children who remain close by.
