Adele Dillon, a Charlotte native, creates her abstract pieces from organic materials in her Dilworth studio/wood shop. While she is busy with design and form, her husband Mark is in the background preparing blank frames and wood for her varied pieces. Each piece she creates forms it’s own personality, and Adele loves the infinite possibilities through shape, color and texture. Although her work seems planned, it is created organically with salvaged pieces that unfold randomly maintaining balance and harmony.Adele and her husband developed a love of design and building while renovating two homes together in Charlotte, and their vacation home in Debordieu, SC. They have enjoyed collecting and producing art for both of their houses.
