Tammy Lynne, a highly respected museum artist, has dedicated over thirty years to capturing the spirit and beauty of animals through breathtaking sculptures. Growing up on a Colorado farm, Tammy was surrounded by horses, cattle, dogs, cats, and birds, which ignited her passion for art from a young age. Starting with drawings of horses at age four, Tammy quickly progressed to sculpting with kiln-fired clay. Embracing Western Raku techniques, she began blending ceramics with silver or stone to create unique mixed media animal pieces. In 1988, Tammy found her true artistic calling with her first bronze sculpture. Today, Tammy's personal collection of animals—six horses, two dogs, two cats, an owl, a hawk, a falcon, and a longhorn steer named Gus—inspires her creative process. She observes their actions, personalities, and anatomy to capture their essence in her sculptures.Tammy's body of work ranges from miniature to monumental cast bronze sculptures, each evoking a range of emotions—from tenderness to playfulness. Her art resonates with love, happiness, and laughter, while also conveying strength, determination, and vulnerability. Tammy's sculptures have the power to deeply move and inspire all who experience them.
