Srinjoy Gangopadhyay was born in Kolkata, India in 1986. Hereceived his Bachelor's of Fine Art from the GovernmentCollege of Art & Craft, Kolkata, India in 2010. He also earnedhis Master's of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art &Design in Atlanta, GA in 2015. While at SCAD, Srinjoy wasawarded the prestigious juried residency at the ElizabethFoundation of Arts in New York.In 2014, Srinjoy was selected as Curatorial Assistant for theTIME::CODE exhibition at WhiteBox Art Center in New York.This show, curated by Raul Zamudio and Juan Puntes, washighly influential in Srinjoy's career and featured such internationally renowned artists as AiWei Wei.Srinjoy has written and published articles for Art Radar Asia and Artehelka, and was part ofjuried exhibitions Lalitkala Akademy and AIFACS in India.
