Esra Kellermanns (owner of Esra's Studio) is an abstract artist based in Colorado. After working as a scientist for a few years and then opening her own dog walking business, she took her art hobby to the next level and started her artistic career in 2017 after going through therapy for her eating disorder. During her recovery she slowly reconnected with her creative side. Since then (2017), creating her artwork has been an outlet and allows her to express and connect with her emotions, which in turn helps her to deal with her eating disorder. Esra is a huge fan of the cubist and expressionistic movement as well as the freedom that artists have with intuitive abstract art and illustrating anything while allowing the observer to be mindful about their own emotions and interpretation! Esra loves hearing where collector’s imaginations take them within the paintings she created. In her free time Esra loves to take hikes with her dog Penny and train for triathlons. And to top off her day, she loves to snuggle up on the sofa with some vanilla ice cream while watching animal videos.
