Addison Duke got his start painting in 2016 while living in Asia. Originally meant as an escape from the stresses of life in another culture and language, painting steadily grew from crutch to pillar. Always drawn to the force a large-scale artwork has upon the occupants of a room, Addison most enjoys working on life-size canvases. With his primary inspirations coming from nature and his faith, painting has become an endeavor to recreate the beauty he sees and feels each day. He lives and works in Birmingham, Alabama.
