Sergei Pavlovich Lysikov was born in Isangulovo (Bashkiria) in 1918. He studied at the Ufa Art College from 1936 to 1938. He was active in Kostroma and pecialized in paintings of the Volga River. Lysikov became a member of the Artists Union of the USSR.
