Jeff Wolff is always in motion. Jeff has been fascinated with the artistic possibilities of the medium of photography since being introduced to it at an early age. Studying and working as a photographer in college enabled him to master the original photographic technology of silver halide film and print processing in the darkroom. After receiving his degree in Visual Communications from Western Washington University, his visual style matured working at graphic design firms in Seattle for over 20 years. Earning a certificate as one of the first FAA-licensed commercial drone operators, Jeff established a unique approach and large client base in the early days of aerial drone photography. Today, his expertise allows him to create dynamic imagery for a range of disciplines and industries. In addition to fine art photography, Jeff’s clients range from the travel and cruise industry to real estate developers, to engineering and construction firms. A lifelong Washington State resident, Jeff has explored and photographed much of the Pacific Northwest. Since relocating to Tacoma, he has enjoyed recording the city’s rich architectural history, often highlighted by its proximity to Mount Rainier, a landmark he is often inspired by and very grateful for. Jeff Wolff’s magnificent photographs of our home city of Tacoma and ever-present Mount Rainier are featured here at Barlow Gallery. See a video from Jeff, HERE.
