Jessica Krause Smith is a Brooklyn, New York-based American painter, born in New Hartford, New York, who has consistently been exploring the visual language of abstract art for many years. With a rich portfolio of paintings that spans more than two decades of determined experimentation and artistic growth she has continuously exhibited her work in New York in galleries and non-profit spaces. Her work is in the permanent collection of the Tang Museum in Saratoga Springs, New York and various private collections across the U.S. With her keen eye for aesthetics and deep understanding of color, Jessica has also seamlessly transitioned into art directing and graphic design for major global brands, bringing a unique blend of creativity and strategic vision for each project. Jessica graduated with honors from Skidmore College with a concentration in Studio Art (Painting and Graphic Design). Her studio is Greenpoint and she lives in Williamsburg with her husband and daughter.
