Lainey Peltier works in multiple media: printmaking, drawing, painting, video, ceramics, and installation. Drawing from her personal relationship to landscape and personal and public archives, Peltier’s multi-disciplinary practice uses natural phenomena as metaphor and form for reflection on perception and truth. In 2020, she received a BA in Art History and a BFA in Art Practices with an emphasis in Printmaking from the University of Colorado Boulder. In 2023, she received an MFA in Studio from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Peltier has exhibited nationally, including a recent solo exhibition in Winnetka, Illinois, and has been published in several publications, including The Hand Magazine. Her work is included in the public collections of the Artist Printmaker Research Collection (AP/RC) at the Museum of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and St. Lawrence University Special Collections in Canton, New York, among others.
