Bronwyn is a Melbourne based artist and a dancer and has participated in Aboriginal Dance groups around Australia. Born in 1963 and educated in Queensland, she is connected to the Arrernte Peoples in Central Australia around Uluru (Ayers Rock). Despite “being mixed blood” Bronwyn has been granted the right by her community to paint several totems, leading her to public art opportunities such as painting totems for Centre Link in Alice Springs. She paints under the name of Bronwyn Raven PURRULA from Arunda, Northern Territory, Australia.
