Tobey Renee Sanders is an Atlanta-based fine artist, decorative art innovator, and educator with over 30 years of experience transforming surfaces into statements. Best known for her signature faux finish techniques and contemporary decorative artistry, Sanders has built a body of work that bridges fine art and architectural design — bringing texture, depth, and narrative to spaces across the country.A 2025–2026 City of Atlanta Emerging Artist Award recipient and board member of the International Decorative Artisans League (IDAL), Sanders is also a James Weldon Johnson Foundation Art Fellow and former Artist-in-Residence at Bloomingdale’s Atlanta, where she was named In-Store Artist and continues to be exhibited today.
