Molly Brocklehurst is a British figurative painter based in Austin, Texas. Her work is characterized by the use of a limited palette, creating nostalgic and dreamlike narratives. Brocklehurst completed her studies in the United Kingdom and holds a BA with honors from Leeds Arts University (2016) and an MFA in Fine Art from the University of Arts London (2019). Her paintings have since been exhibited in London, Scandinavia, and the USA, and are held in private collections internationally.Brocklehurst collects photographs from online archives and flea markets, drawing inspiration from the cultures and communities of the places she lives and travels.
