Jarod W. Farver is an Arizona-based contemporary mixed-media artist whose work blends abstract painting, photography, and tinted resin to create depth-driven surfaces that explore movement, emotion, and the organic rhythms of nature. With more than a decade of experience collaborating with galleries, collectors, and interior designers, Jarod brings a design-minded approach to his practice, pairing expressive mark-making with refined composition. Rooted in both fine art and contemporary interiors, his work bridges the space between intuitive creation and curated environments. Each piece is layered, dimensional, and intentionally crafted to shift with light and perspective. Jarod’s artwork has been exhibited in Scottsdale, San Diego, Tampa, and Palm Beach, and continues to evolve as he experiments with new materials, techniques, and forms that challenge the boundaries of mixed media. Artist Statement: My work is driven by a desire to capture emotion through layered environments and spaces where color, texture, and light move together to create something both powerful and serene. I work in a combination of abstract painting, photography, and tinted resin, allowing each medium to influence the next. These layers build into a visual landscape that feels fluid, shifting, and responsive, much like the natural forces that inspire me. I am drawn to the balance between chaos and control. The process begins with intuitive gesture and movement, then evolves into a more deliberate shaping of form, surface, and composition. Each piece is an exploration of tension and harmony, where expressive marks meet the polished clarity of resin, and where organic textures settle into quiet, reflective spaces. Ultimately, my goal is to create artworks that invite viewers to pause, look closer, and connect with the emotional undercurrents within the piece. I want the work to feel alive, transforming with each angle and each change in light, offering a new experience every time it’s seen.
