From a young age, life has been a thrilling adventure for Beck Paschoal. She began riding a motorcycle at just 4 years old, long before they could ride a bike, and have been living life in the fast lane ever since. Beck’s true passion lies in creating art that enlightens, infused with love and humor. Born in San Diego, California in 1976 and raised in the vibrant coastal town of Oceanside, Beck was deeply influenced by the diverse landscapes and cultures of the area. In 1994, Beck began their journey in college at Chico, Northern California, where they immersed themselves in painting—a medium that has become a liberating form of expression. By winter 1998, Beck had moved to the Big Island of Hawaii, where island life and its vivid surroundings profoundly impacted their work. It was here that their paintings, rich with color and movement, first appeared in gallery settings. In 2001, Beck relocated to Maui with their husband, Matt, and they were married in 2002. Together, they have three sons who have become their greatest sources of inspiration and joy. As Beck continues to explore new media and styles, their current work features impressionistic, textural compositions that almost sculpt off the canvas, reflecting a love for creative freedom and diverse techniques. When not painting, Beck can be found paddleboarding, gardening, fusing glass, making jewelry, or writing poetry. Love remains their greatest inspiration and the driving force behind their art. Beck strives to create pieces that celebrate personal strengths and encourage viewers to embark on their own journeys of self-discovery. Beck’s art invites viewers to slow down, be present, and let each piece guide them on an epic adventure.
