Growing up in an artistic family, I was deeply influenced by my father’s creativity and the vibrant experiences of my travels. These early influences shaped my love for colors and forms, sparking a lifelong passion for the visual arts. As a self-taught artist, I rediscovered this passion after becoming an empty nester, immersing myself once again in the joy of painting. My work is an exploration of textures and materials, blending acrylics, plaster, oil, and charcoal to create pieces that invite touch as much as sight. I am constantly experimenting, pushing boundaries to find new ways to express my ideas through layers, textures, and compositions. For me, the frame is as much a part of the artwork as the canvas itself—an extension of the narrative that begins within the borders of the painting. I find fulfillment in the evolution of each piece, allowing my creativity to guide me through the journey of turning an idea into a tangible form. This continual experimentation keeps my work fresh, full of life, and always evolving.
