Sarah Ella Cole is a right and left-brained, self-taught artist finding balance in between the spaces on a canvas. She is drawn to the fine lines of geometry with the ever-present intention to paint them as aloof. She plays with all mediums to create a multifold texture and finish and finds inspiration from her favorite travel spots, textiles, architecture, and nature. Sarah Ella holds tight to her southern roots and that inspiration will always find its way into each piece.Personally, Sarah Ella is a wife to Roger and mom of two teenage boys. Airey, her oldest, is a sweet, funny 17-year-old soul with sports as his true love. Campbell is her precocious 16-year-old who wants to entertain anyone in ear shot. They have two dogs that fill their home with amusement and surprise. She is a native of the Mississippi Delta, and after spending 7 years in the music city of Nashville, Sarah Ella moved her brood to the ‘Big Easy’ of New Orleans in 2020. She filled her studio and canvas with inspiration provided by NOLA’s colors, architecture, millwork and eclectic style. In 2021, the family moved back to Nashville to replant and grow Sarah Ella's fine art career back home.
