Shawn Savage made Palm Springs more beautiful and didn't stop until the very end. For two decades he was woven into the fabric of this city— on the walls of its hotels, in the homes of its designers, at the fundraisers for its animals, in the murals that still face the desert sun. Some artists pass through a place. Shawn Savage became a part of it. Savage moved to the Coachella Valley in 2003 and spent the next two decades becoming one of Southern California’s most sought-after fine artists. A painter, photographer, author, and event producer, he built a loyal client base through art fairs in Los Angeles and Palm Springs before his gallery and vintage home accessories shop made him a go-to resource for top interior designers. His work appeared in films and television, including The Bad News Bears, and is held in prominent collections at the San Giorgio Hotel, The Biltmore, The Morrison, the Liberace and Jack Webb estates, and numerous Acme Vacation Rentals—including the West Elm House 2018, which features two of his outdoor murals. A devoted animal lover and long-time supporter of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter, Savage regularly donated paintings to their annual fundraising auctions. He passed away in 2024, leaving behind a body of work —and a city —that bear his mark. Remaining work by Shawn Savage is available through Illumine Gallery. Please inquire for shipping or delivery.
