Madison Rayne Pascal is a Métis artist working mainly in painting and drawing media. She graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree: International with a major in Open Studio. Madison’s paintings have been included in group exhibitions across Western Canada including The MacKenzie Art Gallery, The Art Gallery of Regina, The University of Victoria, and downtown Winnipeg, along with public works in downtown Regina and Saskatoon. Madison’s works are based on emotional experiences, which she uses to navigate the complex feelings around the subject of identity and mixed ancestry, of mental health, the feminine, and strength. Multi-layered and finely detailed images bring the viewer to share in the intimacy of her experiences, connecting through the immortalization of nostalgic objects and the preservation of treasured memories. Madison works from her studio in downtown Regina, SK.
