A passionate educator, John has taught extensively at institutions like the Scottsdale Artists’ School, Salt Lake Community College, and numerous workshops in California, Utah, Montana and Wyoming. John is also a prolific writer on the subject of painting tips, having published nearly 100 articles in respected outlets such as Fibonacci Fine Arts Digest, 15 Bytes, and Outdoor Painter. His work and expertise have been featured in both national and international publications, including Plein Air Magazine and Pratique Des Arts. His work was recently featured in the book, Painters of Grand Teton National Park, by Donna and James Poulton.
