A New Mexico Native, Brad Goodell studied art at the University of New Mexico and the Colorado Institute of Art. Brad began working as a commercial illustrator in 1984, specializing in book and magazine covers. His illustration work has been recognized by the New York Society of Illustation. Other awards include the International Council of Airshows, the ADDY Awards, where he was awarded over 30 national and regional awards, and the Dallas Society of Illustrators. Moving to southwestern Colorado in 2002 allowed Brad to shift away from commercial illustration and focus on other artistic endeavors. His most recognizable work includes five large murals spread across the Four Corners depicting the rich history of the Southwest. His signature style takes inspiration from the dramatic landscapes of the region, along with its rich heritage of farmers and craftsmen. *
