Jarrett Holbrook is a self-taught artist from Blairsville, GA who works with acrylics as well as other 2D media. Much of his work features landscapes or historical architecture in or around Columbus, GA where he currently lives and works, or from other areas like North Georgia where he spent his childhood. Art was always a major interest growing up, but especially in high school because of a wonderful teacher, artist, and human Mrs. Molly Marsh, who always encouraged her students to believe in themselves and achieve their greatest potential. Jarrett graduated from Columbus State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and a Minor in Art History in December 2020, and currently teaches private piano and art lessons at the Columbus School of Music and Dance in Columbus, GA and serves as the pianist and organist for Trinity UMC in Phenix City, AL. He also works alongside Karen Ouzts at Heritage Art Center in Downtown Columbus, Georgia, which hosts group and solo shows as well as a gallery filled with work by local artists. He currently accepts commissions alongside personal work, and enjoys connecting with customers to bring their ideas for a personal artwork to life, whether that be a pet portrait, painting of your home, or a gift for a loved one!
