Curt Brill, born in 1952 in the Bronx, New York, discovered his passion for art while studying at Cornell University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Design. Early on, he was drawn to ceramics, silkscreen, and drawing, but it was sculpture that ultimately captured his focus. After experimenting with clay, he began casting in bronze in 1980, developing a distinctive approach to figurative work that blends movement, stillness, and a sense of gentle humor.
