Lisa Bagley is an abstract artist based in Connecticut. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Illustration and Graphic Design. She has been drawing and painting since she could hold a paintbrush. "Art has always been a form of communication and a connection to my inner voice." Her current style is highly inspired by art movements such as minimalism and abstract expressionism. Mark making and spontaneous gestural brushstrokes make up the primary layers of her work which serve as a meditative release of energies. These expressive beginnings can still be felt and sometimes observed in the final minimalist composition. Lisa's artwork has been part of multiple group and juried exhibitions. Her original pieces are purchased and collected locally, nationally and internationally.
