Wilson Jumper grew up in Gastonia, NC. As the son of a car dealer there, he had unique mechanical skills and polished his mechanical aptitude to get a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his 50 year work career he designed machines and buildings, designed systems to maintain them and worked to enhance production capabilities. After retiring in Black Mountain, he formed an LLC to continue use of his mechanical ability by repairing clocks of all kinds. He fell in love with stained glass design and construction and now incorporates his love of clocks into this new craft. Each piece created is unique and is a blend of sustainability, function, form and design, texture and color. He works to include repurposed materials to give a connection of the old and new.
