Javan McGriff gets emotional about art. Javan has been an Artist since childhood, believing in art as a language that speaks to our hearts, inspiring and healing us in ways that words cannot. As a podcaster and published author of the book, “Dealing with Emotions”, he provides unique and transformative guidance that offers a fresh perspective on understanding and managing emotions through a spiritual lens. It emphasizes that we are not defined by our emotions, thoughts, or feelings but rather by our awareness of them. Javan has a passion for education, with a master’s degree in psychology and an early childhood education degree. During his formative years, he encountered significant challenges, abuse, and a harrowing attack by two pit bull dogs. Despite accumulated traumas as a youth, he managed to overcome the adversity and survive. With his paintings, each unique piece of art tells a story, inviting us to explore the depths of our souls and find solace in the beauty of the world around us. He believes that through the language of art, we can connect with others and experience profound emotions that transcend time and space.
