Tim Cotterill's growing menagerie of frog sculptures, as well as his stunning collection of Koi Fish, delight collectors and offer a glimpse of the talent and fertile imagination of the Frogman. A childhood spent in the Leicester, England countryside was followed by an engineering apprenticeship, as he pursued a passion for motorbike design. Using many of the same materials and techniques he had developed in motorbike construction, Cotterill began sculpting birds from his childhood memories of the English woods. Widely recognized for his talent, many of Tim's bird sculptures were sold through Sotheyby's in London. The evolution of Tim's art, from bird themes in constructed metal to his unique intriguing cast bronze frogs has created an international following. Tim lives in Venice Beach, California, his "power place," in a refurbished warehouse he has transformed into a studio and garden he calls "Paradise." He shares his home with the many frogs that reside in his Koi pond.
