Oliver Näslund is a Swedish artist whose art practice is firmly rooted in his own journey with mental health. Oliver wants to open up a dialogue about mental health, healing, and the restorative power of art and spirituality. He works across painting, sculpture and sound. In his practice, Oliver explores how different forms of expression and materials can be used as a language of their own and what it takes to create works that are not only visually interesting but also inherit a sense of awareness and energy. Oliver works intuitively and free from any preconceived idea of how the piece will turn out. Having an unbroken conversation with the piece, he sees his art as a collective of his thoughts and ideas, something that’s in constant motion, its own living entity.
