JULIE DUNN **ARTIST STATEMENT**"My current painting series, 'Circle of Life,' is inspired by the idea that we are all connected through our energy. I hope to bring comfort by reminding you that your angels are always with you."**BIO**Julie is a creative artist based in Charleston, originally from Charlotte, where she was raised in a family of artists. She began her artistic journey through photography, creating black-and-white images that now grace the walls of individual collectors, corporate collections, and commercial spaces around the world. With a passion for painting, her new mixed media series, 'Circle of Life,' aims to inspire joy and foster connections with others. Her background in business development combined with her love for art led her to the Atrium Art Gallery, where she has worked as the Gallery Director for over 12 years. Julie is a prominent figure in the Charleston art scene and served as the President of the French Quarter Gallery Association (FQGA) / Charleston Gallery Association (CGA) for 3½ years. She played a key role in the group's transition from FQGA to CGA, which opened the association to the greater Charleston area. This significant event united various art community groups and established a cohesive unit that continues to thrive today. Julie remains dedicated to creating art and exploring new avenues for expressing her vision and creativity. **CIRCLE OF LIFE**What does the circle of life mean to you? For Julie, it signifies that we meet people for specific reasons, seasons, or lifetimes, all orchestrated by the universe. We are all energy and are connected to everything: to God, our angels, other energies in the universe, as well as friends and family who have passed, and our relationships with others here on earth.
