(Viña del Mar, Chile 1964, radicada en Francia desde 2004).Luego de estudiar arquitectura y gráfica en la Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (UCV, Chile), parte en 1984 becada a Mount Holyoke College (Massachusetts, Estados Unidos) donde obtiene el título de B.A. con honores. En 1986 se traslada a Nueva York donde continúa sus estudios superiores en la Art Students’ League gracias a varias becas. En 2013 es artista residente en la Universidad Loyola de Chicago. Allí prepara la exposición TRANSITS y dirige un taller de dibujo.En Francia interviene regularmente como artista y pedagoga en el entorno escolar. Con el bailarín y coreógrafo chileno Marcelo Sepúlveda montan el proyecto Huellas y Movimiento, talleres donde interactúan la danza y el dibujo. Adaptados a diversos públicos, los talleres abren una ventana a los vínculos entre disciplinas y el despertar artístico.Entre 2016 2019 enseña dibujo en la filial de Diseño de la Universidad de Nîmes. Sus obras forman parte de colecciones públicas en Chile: MAC Santiago, MAVI, CCU, MAM y colecciones privadas en Chile, Francia, Estados Unidos, Alemania, Bélgica, Brasil, China y Centroamérica. In Chile she received scholarships from the Amigos del Arte Foundation, the RodoArte Prize from the Ministry of Transport, the Marco Bontà Prize and in 2006 she was nominated for the prestigious ALTAZOR Prize. In 2013 she was an artist in residence at Loyola University in Chicago. There she prepared the TRANSITS exhibition and led a drawing workshop. In France she regularly intervenes as an artist and teacher in the school environment. With the Chilean dancer and choreographer Marcelo Sepúlveda they set up the Huellas y Movimiento project, workshops where dance and drawing interact. Adapted to different audiences, the workshops open a window to the links between disciplines and artistic awakening. Between 2016 and 2019 she taught drawing at the Design branch of the University of Nîmes. Her works are part of public collections in Chile: MAC Santiago, MAVI, CCU, MAM and private collections in Chile, France, the United States, Germany, Belgium, Brazil, China and Central America.
