Chinemerem Omeh is a Nigerian artist born in Nsukka Enugu, Nigeria. He holds a BA in fine and applied arts from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka with a specialization in painting. Currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia, US. Omeh’s artistic journey began at the age of five. Unable to read and write, drawing naturally became a means to express himself. Despite facing discouragement from peers, teachers and even his parents, who deemed pursuing art as impractical career, Omeh’s passion for art persisted, becoming a resilient force in his life. His works, characterized by a deep sense of emotion, hope, and love, reflect a yearning for change in the face of challenging realities. Over the years, Omeh has showcased is art in numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide, defying initial skepticism and establishing himself as a prolific artist.
