Janet Harrell, a North Carolina native, graduated from Meredith College in 1979 with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. As an Art Teacher in the Wake County School System, Harrell shared her love of art with thousands of students for over 30 years. She is now retired from the school system and works full time in her studio. Her work has won awards in local juried shows, and she is represented in private collections in NC, SC and VA.
