Sharmila worked as an architect before changing careers and fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a full time artist. She is a self-taught artist and works primarily in oils.Roy’s works are greatly influenced by nature, its patterns, changing colors and moods. She strives to capture the energy of nature on her canvases and her works are an exploration of light and movement across various subject matters like landscapes, cityscapes, waterscapes and figurative. She lives with her family in Milton, Georgia.
