Where conservation meets canvas..As a Georgia native, I have a particular love for the American South, its wildlife and culture. Nothing thrills me quite like reeling in a largemouth bass or teaching our precious young daughter how to bait a hook. Those beloved moments serve as inspiration in many of my paintings. My art career has humble beginnings. I have always been a creator and completely self-taught. Art came natural to me since I was a young child. I can remember winning art contests even in elementary school. I began selling painted signs at craft shows as a teen. Positive feedback and success pushed my desire to paint. With practice and time I took on commission work for acrylic and watercolor paintings. My watercolor paintings became a best-seller on Etsy with over 400 commission paintings sold. Oils are now my preferred medium. I have a particular focus on wildlife and landscapes painted in realism style. The ultimate compliment is when someone thinks a painting is actually a photograph at first glance. I have now been in national exhibitions and competed in several conservation competitions across the country. I am thankful I get to bring these two passions together.
