“We all smile. We all feel joy and pain. All our laughter is the same, without any language barrier.” When Paula Jones turned to art twenty years ago as a way to channel her creativity and a means to demonstrate and embrace her and all of humanity’s imperfections, she began a journey towards an unknown location. That path has brought her to her current body of work, imbued with layers of bright, joyful color, expressing messages of hope, love, gratitude and connection. She hopes it brings viewers to a place of remembering how many things we have in common, rather than focusing on our differences.
