Working with paint, textiles, paper, and found objects, Adams builds intricate, layered surfaces rich with marks, stitches, scribbles, and scratches. Her photographic practice, which focuses on textures and surfaces altered by natural forces, further informs her abstract paintings and textile pieces.After a successful career in administration and design, she left the corporate world in 2008 to devote herself fully to her art, completing her BFA from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2010.
