Graubard eventually found solace in art, first through drawing, then painting. This unexpected discovery became not only a creative outlet but also a therapeutic lifeline, prompting him to leave his career in psychology. Graubard now resides in Lenox, Massachusetts, with his wife Karen, dedicating his time to painting - a practice that he credits with preserving his well-being and possibly saving his life.
