Costa Rican artist Dora Gonzalez, born and raised on an Esperza farm by the cloud forest, cultivated a deep appreciation for nature. Despite living in San Juan's impoverished areas, her vibrant spirit was sustained by her spiritual beliefs and gratitude. Even after losing her eyesight later in life, she continued to create art reflecting her rich life experiences, using her work to celebrate the world's inherent beauty.
