Born in Lihueimo, Haydeé Paredes transitioned from a career in preschool education to becoming a renowned artisan, following in her mother's footsteps. Her mastery in traditional crafts has earned her various prestigious accolades, including the "Traditional Craftsman Master" award in 2015, Chile's highest honor for artisans. Paredes' works, which celebrate Chilean rural culture, are displayed globally, including in St. Peter’s Square, Rome, and several museums. Besides promoting her craft through her webpage, she actively conducts workshops and participates in exhibitions across Chile.
