Born in 1910 in the quaint village of Milkowa near Nowy Sacz, Helena Chwistek was an artist who embraced her passion for painting early in life. Despite her formal education only reaching primary school level, she began painting houses, both interiors and exteriors, during her childhood and transitioned to creating art on canvas in 1985. Helena's personal life was enriched with a loving family including her husband, three children, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Her artistic portfolio, comprised of vivid landscapes, human figures, and occasional religious themes, is proudly displayed in private collections and museums alike. Helena's work is celebrated for its sincerity and simplicity, and she continued her artistic journey until her passing in 2002.
