Alexander Tadesse (b. Addis Ababa 1983), a graduate of the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design and later specialising in painting at the Entoto Polytechnic College of Fine Arts, Tadesse experiments in different art forms. These include painting, graphic design and cartoon animation. Living in Africa and traveling the world helped him artistically to observe and capture the colour of harmony and all that diversity brings. His works speak of the beauty that exists in our environment through colours and the connection that each of us has with each other in a rapidly changing world. He participated in numerous group shows: at Kampala Art Biennale, at the Afri Art Gallery in Uganda, at Capital Hotel and Spa, at Alliance Ethio-francaise and at Laphto Art Gallery. His solo exhibitions include one at the National Museum of Ethiopia in 2014 and at the Guramayne Art Center in 2016.
