Ivana Ignjacevic is a full-time artist based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. A native of Belgrade, she was born into a lineage rich with artistic heritage. Her upbringing immersed her in a world where creativity was a way of life, fostering a deep appreciation for the visual arts. This early exposure laid the foundation for a journey to see Ivana become a distinguished artist with a unique perspective shaped by her diverse experiences. Having traversed Europe, Africa, North America, and the Middle East, Ivana's art resonates with the vibrant tapestry of cultures she’s encountered. Her works reflect a synthesis of global influences, capturing the essence of the places and people she encountered on her travels. Ivana's academic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University, where she received Honors in Visual Art and History. At Brown, she studied painting at the Rhode Island School of Design. Her commitment to art and education continued as she pursued a Juris Doctorate at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, showcasing her dedication to a multi-faceted intellectual and creative pursuit. Post-graduation, Ivana delved into a focused exploration of figurative art at the renowned New York Academy of Art, refining her techniques and deepening her artistic expression.
